Lew Blank

Lew Blank is a Master of Public Affairs student at the La Follette School of Public Affairs, and is pursuing an Energy Analysis and Policy certificate. Lew currently works as a project assistant for Professor Morgan Edwards at the Climate Action Lab, where he is researching trends in energy generation and consumption and the extent to which various regions need to phase out natural gas in order to stay in line with global climate goals. Lew graduated in 2020 from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with degrees in political science and journalism. His interests include climate policy, social welfare policy, and reforming our political institutions. Lew was awarded the EAP Student Scholarship in 2021.
