Our research group is an enthusiastic group of scientists interested in understanding the scale interactions in our atmosphere. We are interested in spatial scales ranging from meso- to planetary-scales and atmospheric variability on timescales of days to weeks. Our work lies at the intersection between basic and applied research and focuses on understanding the drivers and processes leading to extreme weather variability and predictability in the extratropical atmosphere.
