UW–Madison professor shapes UN report on climate change

The latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report urges immediate action to limit greenhouse gas emissions in all sectors of the economy, including energy, transportation, construction, manufacturing and agriculture. Gregory Nemet, professor at the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs and one of the report’s lead authors, was one of only two dozen American scientists contributing to the report.
