At the end of September, EAP partnered with the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and Howard University to host the conference: Energy, Fire, and Changing Landscapes – Satellite Applications. The conference focused on how satellite data can improve our ability to manage wildfires and energy infrastructure in a changing climate.
We had a great turnout of 70 attendees in person and a great mix of traditional academic researchers and industry! Moreover, the community impacts panel included non-profit partners that described how wildfires can impact vulnerable communities.
The recordings are now available for viewing on the Speakers and Sessions page.
